Official prepaid dolly service for pilgrims who need climbing assistance

For devotees who find the climb from Pamba to Sannidhanam difficult, the Travancore Devaswom Board provides an official prepaid dolly system. Use only TDB counters, pay only the fixed counter rate, and keep the printed receipt until the journey is fully completed.

Useful for those who begin the climb but need assistance mid-way after the strain of the slope becomes clear.

Sannidhanam Counter

Best for booking the return journey from Sannidhanam back to Pamba after darshan and prasadam collection.

Safety rules every pilgrim should confirm

Certified dollies:

The service is expected to run only with inspected and certified dollies, in line with court-directed safety focus.

Four authorized workers:

Each dolly should be carried by a team of four authorized workers, not by an unverified group gathered informally on the route.

Visible identification:

Check that the carriers are using TDB-issued identity cards or uniforms before the movement starts.

Printed receipt protection:

The receipt is your main protection against overcharging, confusion over assignment, and disputes about the booking.
